    IB Mission Statement

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

    The MYP Student

The IB student becomes a stakeholder in the classroom as they take information and apply it to new situations. Students are driven to be balanced and to participate in foreign languages, athletics, design, art and music. IB is different because it builds the whole student.  The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme is a rigorous educational program that requires students to take specific courses and volunteer extra time to community projects. Each classroom is transformed into a student-centered, teacher facilitated learning atmosphere.
