    Dear Parent/Guardian:

    Manatee County Public Schools is committed to providing quality instruction for all students and does so by employing the most qualified individuals to teach and support each student in the classroom. All educators in the state of Florida are monitored to ensure that they meet certification and training requirements as mandated by law.  All our teachers are certified to teach, although some of them are currently out-of-field and are working on additional areas of certification.

    You have the right to know the professional qualifications of the teachers who instruct your child.

    Per Florida Statute 1012.42, when a teacher is assigned teaching duties out of the field in which the teacher is certified, the parents of all students in the class shall be notified in writing.  

    Federal law allows you to ask for certain information about your child’s teachers and requires us to give you this information in a timely manner if you ask for it.  The table below lists teachers who are currently out-of-field.     Todos los educadores en Florida son monitoreados para asegurar que cumplan con los requisitos de certificación y capacitación según lo ordena la ley. Según el Estatuto de Florida 1012.42, cuando a un maestro se le asignan tareas de enseñanza fuera del campo en el que el maestro está certificado, los padres de todos los estudiantes en la clase serán notificados por escrito. 

    Las Escuelas Públicas del Condado de Manatee se comprometen a proporcionar instrucción de calidad para todos los estudiantes y lo hacen mediante el empleo de las personas más calificadas para enseñar y apoyar a cada estudiante en el aula. Todos nuestros maestros están certificados para enseñar, aunque algunos de ellos están actualmente fuera del campo y están trabajando en áreas adicionales de certificación. Tiene derecho a conocer las calificaciones profesionales de los maestros que instruyen a su hijo. La ley federal le permite solicitar cierta información sobre los maestros de su hijo y nos exige que le brindemos esta información de manera oportuna si la solicita.
