Dear Students and Parents/Guardians:                                                      

Welcome to the Middle Years Programme at L.R. Johnson K-8 School of International Studies.  The documents below will help students select electives for the upcoming school year.   For current Johnson K-8 students who attend on-campus, all course registration will take place either through current 5th grade classes or Science classrooms.   For eLearners and students who attend other District schools, course registration will take place via Schoology.  Students who have been accepted to Johnson, but are not currently enrolled in a District school will be receiving an e-mail in early April with registration information.  

Academic course placement (e.g. math, science, social studies, and language arts) will be based on teacher recommendation and/or standardized test scores. Parents are also welcome to contact administration to discuss this placement. 

Elective selections will be based on the preferred electives chosen through the course selection form. We will make every effort to accommodate the student’s first preference.
