Before you start working on earning hours, make sure you read and understand the Manatee County School District policy about the completion of projects.
The Palmetto High School Volunteer Service Coordinator is Mrs. Durshimer, A-D counselor. Please see her in Student Services for pre-approval of your hours. You can come in before or after school or during lunch. You may also reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org or 941-723-4848, ext. 2007.

If you belong to a service club, such as Key Club or Interact, your sponsor or club president will get approval in advance. Please make sure you know their procedures about the processing of paperwork.
