    Graduation FAQ

    Graduation Ticket Update:

As many of you already know, each Senior student now has 15 tickets for Graduation! We would just like to clarify a few things about this ticket increase. 15 tickets per person includes all ages including babies, toddlers, and small children. It does not matter the age or seating choice, each person attending the event must have a ticket. 1 ticket = 1 person. Please remember this as you are planning your guest counts with attending friends and family.

Tickets will be handed out on June 1 and June 2 from 9am-Noon at school. See you soon!

    Senior Graduation Update:

Hello Parents and the Class of 2021.  Please read the important information.  If you have questions, please contact Ms. Gilley or feel free to email Mr. Butler.

A final decision has been made regarding the Class of 2021 Graduation. The BHS Graduation date will be Friday, June 4 at 8:00am at LECOM Park stadium. Each Senior will receive two admission tickets for the ceremony.  If this changes, I will update you via a ConnectEd phone calls and through the Class of 2021 Schoology Page and senior tab on the school’s webpage.

In addition, we will host a cap and gown pickup day on campus, along with a graduation practice after school. Cap and Gown pick up will be May 26th from 3-6PM.  Students will be able to pick up their cap and gowns and take photos in our Graduation Selfie booth.  More information will be provided later about the graduation practice date and time.

Some other important Senior information for the end-of-year information includes the following:

    • The last full day of classes for Seniors will be May 7.
    • Senior exam week is May 10-14.
    • The last day of school for Seniors is Friday, May 14th. This is also the last day for any make-up exams.

We know that this year has not been full of exciting events and we do want to do some special senior only events that comply with district policies, expectations, and COVID safety guides.  As Mr. Butler and the admin team, along with Ms. Gilley, and SGA, work on a plan, we ask that you remain patient and optimistic.  We am very proud of each of you and look forward to celebrating you in every way possible.

Thank you and as always…Go Bruins!
