Good evening, Panther families!
The first week of school was a success! It took a great deal of cooperation, and we made it through by teachers and staff giving students a warm welcome, assisting with finding their way around and teaching our school's expectations. We are ready for a great year!
Please be mindful buses will continue to be significantly delayed due to combining of routes, the car rider line will get better once everyone grows accustomed to the routine, and the YMCA will meets in the cafeteria this year, where the drop off and pick are at the doors of building 6.
Here are a few pointers that will help your child navigate through this year safely and successfully:
1. If your child is sick, please keep him or her home and notify the school. Students can access Schoology to view their assignments.
2. Have your child bring a refillable water bottle with them on a daily basis.
3. Remind your child their ID & lanyard is a daily part of "dressing for success!"
4. Remind your child that cell phones must be off and stored away during the school day unless they have permission.
5. Encourage your child to have a positive attitude.
Thank you in advance for preparing your child for a successful year!
If your child is a car rider, please be sure to enter the car rider line on the south side of the school or Gate B and pull all the way forward to the flagpole. This will help with loading as many students as possible while keeping the flow going. Students can not be picked up in the staff parking area, the bus loading zone or on River Club Blvd. This poses many safety issues.
We are looking for leaders to serve on the Principals' Student Advisory Group (PSAG). If your child is interested, have him or her fill out the application located on our website: https://forms.office.com/r/CeQNTJZnsF.
As always, thank you for your patience, cooperation, and support. We are the home of the Panthers, where we believe and achieve!
Best regards,
Mrs. Zenon-Richardson
