    If you received a cord in your cap and gown yesterday - here are the meanings:

    Light Blue Cord - AP Scholar 

    Blue & Gold Cord & Tassel - NHS

    Dark Blue - Key Club

    Black & Green Knotted - Top 4%

    Black, Green & Silver Interwoven - Community Service

     

    Everyone should have received 4 graduation tickets yesterday in the baggy with the coupons and medallion. 

    The Class of 2020 is a very large class and at this time, I do not have extra graduation tickets for anyone.

    In front of Building 1 – Parents are asked to drive round loop. Large bins will be placed in front of the school office under cover. We are asking parents/students to take pictures of the barcodes on the books and put them inside plastic (Publix) type bags, before carefully placing them in the bin.

    1. Go to MySDMC SSO (manateeschools.net) and log in.
    2. Choose the app, Destiny Library.
    3. Choose Your school site.
    4. Log in (upper right corner) with:
      1. User name: your ID number
      2. Password: last name (be sure to use your name as listed in FOCUS, using hyphens as needed)
    5. Choose the tab My Information to see the following:
      1. Library Materials Out
      2. Textbook Materials Out
      3. Fines (outstanding)

    Graduation Tickets

    As of May 22, 2020, all students received 4 graduation tickets.

    The graduate does not need a ticket to get into graduation. Every person needs a ticket, including toddlers.  

    Graduation is streamed live on the day of graduation.

    Extra tickets are not available at this time. You will be notified if this changes.

    **The selling of graduation tickets is prohibited.**

    Graduation Dress Code

    Young ladies should wear dark colored dresses or pants and black shoes. Top 10% young ladies should wear light or dark colored dresses, pants and black or silver shoes. Ladies try to stay away from pattern dresses as they will show through your gowns.

    All young men should wear dark ties, plain white or black collared dress shirts, black shoes, black socks and black dress pants.

    DO NOT WEAR TENNIS SHOES, SHORTS, JEANS, T-SHIRTS or POLO SHIRTS.
