Students Artwork Entered in 2025 Congressional Competition

Parrish Community High School students are officially featured in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. The entries include pieces from students across the district. Six students were selected for their photography pieces. These are the only photography pieces that qualified for the competition in the district. An additional four students were selected for their art pieces. -
Speech, Art classes collaborate on Children’s Book Projects

The PCHS speech elective and the commercial art elective came together and wrote 7 children's books. Both classes worked hard to get this project done before the seniors involved in the project’s final days on campus. -
Parrish Students Recognized at Golden Herald Awards

On Thursday, April 10, the annual Golden Herald Awards Ceremony was held at the State College of Florida (SCF) Bradenton campus. Five Parrish Community High School students received scholarship awards: Mia Gonzalez, Emma Harlow, Isabella Maccini, Ifeoluwapo Owoeye, and Abigail Hoagland. -
Forensics in Action; PCHS Students attend field trip to Sarasota County Morgue

In March, Parrish Community High School’s forensics classes had the opportunity to attend the Sarasota Morgue and see how and where medical examiners work. The students talked with the Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Russel Vega, and several other members of the staff about cases, autopsies, and the science behind the gruesome side of investigations. -
Student Highlight: Sarah Brunner

Sarah Brunner, a senior at Parrish Community High School, has made many impressive academic achievements, primarily in the subject of fine art. Brunner has entered her art in many exhibits and has won awards and recognition by many art institutions including the Dali Art Museum Exhibit and the Manatee County Arts Alive showcase. -
Parrish Community receives high praise from Florida FFA Association

On Friday April 11, the Florida FFA Association announced that Parrish Community High School’s FFA program is one of this year’s “Florida’s Finest” FFA Chapters. They will be further recognized by the organization at the Florida FFA State Convention and Expo in Orlando this summer. -
Student Government continues to promote school spirit with Spring Spirit Week

The Student Government Association (SGA) at Parrish Community High School hosted a Spring Spirit week from April 7-11 to continue to promote school spirit. -
Grand Opening of Building 8 at PCHS

On the evening of April 15, Parrish Community celebrated a new milestone with an official ribbon cutting ceremony for building 8, a project that has been underway since last school year. -
The Last Stretch: Important Dates for the Class of 2025

The class of 2025 are in the last stretch; their final days of high school are quickly approaching. Seniors need to mark on their calendars to prepare for graduation. -
"Obsession, Disintegration, Reinvention” themed projects shine at Dali Museum Exhibit

Art and photography students at Parrish Community High participated in the Dali Museum Student Art Exhibit, following this year's theme: “Obsession, Disintegration, and Reinvention.” Students worked hard and made achievements that will be displayed in the museum and other exhibits.
