Manatee Elementary Friends and Supporters
In addition to our active and engaged Community Partnership, Manatee Elementary has many friends who support our school in a variety of ways. From donating to Manatee Elementary, to volunteering at Manatee Elementary celebrations and events, to bringing special programming to our children, Manatee Elementary would not be the same without these community relationships. Stay tuned for more featured friends! In the meantime, we would like to thank the following groups, businesses, and organizations.
Bradenton Kiwanis
-
Since 1922, Bradenton Kiwanis has built a reputation for seeking out what needs to be done to help our children and our community. Their members are community leaders who proudly believe their organization is a great opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children in need. On the evening of August 5th, the good folks at Kiwanis answered the call and pitched in to cook and serve a great meal at our Open House event. In partnership with our school, the Boys and Girls Club, and Publix Supermarket, Kiwanis club members grilled hot dogs and served them along with chips and a beverage. Many thanks to Neil Unruh, Mike Bear, Karen Carpenter, Barbara Duncan, Steve Riley, Ray Schaberg, Raymond Barhorst, Robin Aube, Gabe Cole, along with Rayline Waldin (SEHS Key Club) and Evelyn (from Bayside Church). You rock! We could not have done it without you!

Manatee Elementary thanks Staples and store associates Eric Smith and Jules Kessler for helping to send our students back to school with the supplies they need to be successful.
